My safari in Kenya was fantastic. Agostino showed me places that were truly unique, both close to nature and close to the Kenyan people. His deep-rooted love for his country is unmistakable. With pleasure and flexibility Agostino organised a tailor made trip for me, taking my personal likings into account. To me it was an extraordinary experience: fascinating, exciting, touching, intimate, sometimes thrilling, many times ‘pole pole’ (take it easy), but all in all unique. I have come to love the country and its people - it was a dream come true!

We barely left the camp and there he was this impressive male lion. What was even more impressive was that he started walking along our vehicle. It was the first lion I ever saw in the wild and I could study him at arm’s length! Amazing!

How many highlights can one traveller handle! Spotting the rarely seen caracal at dusk, tracking lions by following their fresh foot prints (how impressive; just by looking at the footprints Agostino could tell the lions passed less than an hour ago), watching elephants playfully crossing the Ewaso Ngiro river… But the absolute highlight was that first breathtaking sight of Lake Turkana. The further north you travel, the more arid the environment becomes, culminating into a surreal landscape of black lava rock. And just when you think you are never going to arrive, there it is: the Jade Sea. It is his home, and Agostino surely made me feel at home there.
